Delta Gamma

Campus Events

Homecoming is one of the most exciting events of the year for the entire campus!! All of Greek life is split up into teams with the rest of the University and compete in fun activities through out the week getting to make lasting memories with friends from all different organizations. From the famous homecoming football game to the colorful parade, Delta Gamma encourages all our members to participate in they week long event!

Eaglethon is a exciting fundraising event that is now a tradition put on 'for the kinds'. It raises awareness and money for the families at Cook's Children's Hospital and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals through students and the community to "create Leaders, Dancers, and MIRACLES!"

The Big Event is a nationally recognized day of service celebrated by the UNT community. Volunteers perform hours of service including environmental programs, assisting local schools and nonprofit organizations, and more. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and student organizations are all welcome to participate. Gamma Nu has enjoyed being a part of The Big Event for the last few years, encouraging our members to continue to "do good" by collecting trash and pulling and cleaning up weeds to keep Denton beautiful.

In the spring semester, the Greek Programming Board organizes Greek Week. During this week, members of Greek organizations come together to show the university how great it is to be Greek. Greek teams are made up of chapters from each council to promote Greek unity and give members of the community the chance to learn about what makes other chapters unique. During the week, teams compete in events such as service events, Greek Games, Eagle Escapades, Extravaganza, and a banner making competition.
