ANCHOR SPLASH

Delta Gamma's Anchor Splash is one of the most popular sorority philanthropies on campus. Fraternities, sororities and non-Greek organizations create teams and each is assigned a group of DG coaches. Throughout the week we have Penny Wars, Capture the Anchor, and DG Serenades!

DG Serenades is a fun evening that the Delta Gamma's enjoy being serenaded by all teams competing in Anchor Splash. 

The DG coaches also teach them a dance routine that ends with the boys and girls in the pool! The teams wear funny costumes, and the dancing gets pretty silly. Anchor Splash takes place in the Denton Natatorium, and anyone can attend. It’s a fun time for the competitors, coaches, judges, and those cheering on in the stands! 

The money raised through team entry fees, donations, and t-shirt sales goes towards Delta Gamma's Foundation, benefiting Service for Sight!

DESSERTS WITH DG

The spring brings our newest philanthropy event, Desserts with DG. This event takes place at the Delta Gamma House, where the sweet girls of Gamma Nu serve sweet treats to anyone and everyone who stops by. 

    

SLICES FOR SIGHT

Every fall we hold Slices for Sight, at the Delta Gamma house and sell anything that comes in slices from pizza to pie, to raise awareness for Service for Sight.    

ANCHOR SLAM

As of Spring 2022, we were able to host our very first Anchor Slam! Similar to our fall event, Anchor Splash, Anchor Slam is a week-long event where other greek life chapters and UNT organizations create teams, and each is assigned a group of DG coaches. During the week, each team participates in a variety of events, including penny wars, giveback nights, and a huge basketball tournament! This year's theme was Olympics!
